Job Requirements/Description

About Islington Giving and Cripplegate Foundation

Islington Giving is a coalition bringing together residents, businesses, funders and community organisations to tackle poverty and inequality in Islington.

Islington Giving operates as a restricted fund within Cripplegate Foundation, an independent charitable foundation with a long history of supporting communities in Islington and the neighbouring area of the City of London. Together, Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving distribute approximately £2.3 million in grants each year, while using our funding, networks, knowledge and convening power to tackle the root causes of poverty and inequality.

Purpose of role:

The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will lead Islington Giving's work with businesses, housing associations and corporate foundations, building partnerships that help tackle poverty and inequality in Islington.

This is an exciting opportunity to build on strong foundations. Islington Giving already has long-term support from corporate partners, housing associations and other funders, and there is significant potential to deepen existing relationships and develop new partnerships.

Islington is home to businesses of every size, from major international companies to thriving local enterprises, and sits alongside the City of London. As a place-based charity, we can offer partners a direct connection to local organisations, communities and impact.

The role will also work closely with the BIG Alliance, founded by Islington Giving, Macquarie Foundation and East London Business Alliance, and benefit from being part of the wider network of place-based Giving schemes across London and beyond.

You will develop and manage a portfolio of business supporters, housing associations and corporate foundations, identify new funding opportunities and create engaging ways for organisations to contribute through philanthropy, employee engagement and strategic partnerships. There is also opportunity to work on bids to trust & foundations (along with the Director of Development & Communications).

As part of a small and collaborative team, you will work closely with the CEO, Director of Development & Communications, Individual Giving Manager and Digital Communications Manager.

Please see the attached Recruitment Pack for the full job description.
