Data & Performance Analyst
Based in London Hybrid Working (2-3 Days On-Site)
6-12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Opportunity to go permanent)
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a Data & Performance Analyst to join a leading organisation within the housing and social care sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with strong Power BI, SQL, and performance reporting experience to play a key role in driving data-led decision making across the business.
Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams, and stakeholders across the organisation, the successful candidate will provide meaningful analysis, develop insightful reporting solutions, and support performance management through high-quality data and business intelligence.
Data & Performance Analyst - Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of performance data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support business objectives
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Power BI and other business intelligence tools
- Produce regular performance reports and management information for senior leadership teams, executives, and board-level stakeholders
- Work with operational managers to understand reporting requirements and develop effective performance monitoring frameworks
- Support the organisation's regulatory, contractual, and statutory reporting obligations by ensuring accurate and timely submissions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained across reporting systems and datasets
- Develop self-service reporting capabilities to improve access to management information across the organisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data improvement opportunities, streamline reporting processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Data & Performance Analyst - Ideal Candidate:
- Experience within a Data Analyst, Performance Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role
- Strong experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualisation design
- Previous experience within housing, social care, public sector, or other regulated environments is ideal
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large datasets and present findings clearly
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insight
- Experience producing performance reports and management information for a range of stakeholder groups, including senior management
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
- Knowledge of SQL, SSRS, Business Objects, or data warehouse environments would be highly beneficial
