Job Requirements/Description
As the UK's leading Social Enterprise, we move lives forward every day by building, managing and supporting thriving Communities. From new homes, social housing and student accommodation to leisure, education and Community initiatives, our work makes a positive difference to millions of People across the UK. And that takes People who care about doing the right thing. People who are ambitious, ready to grow and motivated to make a difference through the work they do.
We're looking for Colleagues who bring energy, curiosity and ownership. People who enjoy being challenged, support those around them and want to keep raising the bar. Because when we perform at our best, we create more opportunities to invest in our Customers, our Communities and each other.
Experience matters, but it's only part of the story. If you share our values and want to build a career where your work has real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

More about your role

As a Housing & Wellbeing Advisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting older people to live independently, safely and confidently within one of our Later Life Living services. You'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, vibrant community where customers feel valued, connected and empowered to maintain their independence.
You'll build strong relationships with customers, their families, local partners and support agencies, ensuring individual needs are understood and regularly reviewed. You'll coordinate support services, promote customer engagement, organise activities that reduce social isolation and encourage active participation within the community.
Alongside delivering an excellent customer experience, you'll manage all aspects of tenancy sustainment including lettings, rent and service charge administration, void management and property inspections. You'll oversee health and safety compliance, support building maintenance and work closely with contractors and care providers to ensure a safe, high-quality environment for customers.
You'll also represent Living Plus with key external stakeholders, help promote the service locally, support occupancy targets and contribute ideas that enhance service delivery and strengthen our customer offer.

Essential criteria

  • Experience working in housing, supported housing, retirement living, health and social care or a customer-focused environment supporting older people.
  • Experience of managing tenancies, customer support plans, property allocations or housing-related services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety requirements, confidentiality and data protection legislation.
  • Experience working with external agencies, care providers or community organisations to coordinate customer support.

More about you

You'll be passionate about delivering outstanding services to older people and committed to helping customers live independently for as long as possible. You'll be confident building relationships with a wide range of people and able to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, support agencies and community partners.
You'll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing a varied workload, balancing tenancy management, wellbeing support and compliance responsibilities. A solution-focused approach, strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in customers' lives will help you succeed in this role.
Previous experience within housing, retirement living, supported living, social care or a similar customer-facing environment would be highly desirable.

What you'll get
