The Lunch Club is a small, ambitious local charity based in Streatham, South London. We bring people together through food and friendship, helping to address food poverty, loneliness and social isolation in our local community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and practical Charity Coordinator to play a central role in the day-to-day running and continued development of The Lunch Club.

What you'll do

Working closely with our CEO, you'll be involved across the charity. This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role: one day you might help prepare and serve lunch, another coordinate volunteers, work on a funding application, or help us communicate what we do.

You'll help keep our day-to-day activities running smoothly and, as a small charity, we all need to be flexible, so there will always be something different to get involved in.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone organised, enthusiastic,and comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting involved. You'll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.

You don't need to be an expert in every aspect of the role. More important to us is a willingness to learn, use your initiative and work collaboratively.

Salary: £24,000 per annum
Location: Streatham, South London
Working pattern: Full-time - either at our service venues or remote
