Early Years Lecturer

REED are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Early Years Lecturer to join our supportive and forward-thinking Further Education team.

This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years professional or a qualified lecturer aiming to make a significant impact on learners' development and career progression. Industry professionals looking to transition into teaching are also encouraged to apply, with support available to gain a teaching qualification.

Early Years Lecturer

• Salary: £29,373 - £41,718 FTE
• Location: Surrey
• Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (0.6 FTE)

Day-to-day of the role of the Early Years Lecturer:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to Early Years and Childcare learners.
• Support learner progress, achievement, and attendance.
• Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Early Years Role :

• Relevant degree or industry-recognised qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related subject.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS) or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience within the Early Years or Childcare sector.
• Knowledge of current FE or Adult Education curriculum developments.
• Understanding of teaching and learning within Further Education.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
