Teaching Assistant - Ashford

Academics are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic client schools in Ashford from September.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils within the classroom and helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

The role:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required
• Providing additional support to children with a range of learning needs
• Helping to promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous experience working with children or young people
• Is enthusiastic, patient and passionate about supporting children's education
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Is available to work 5 days per week from September
• Holds an active DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Academics
